A great car museum with very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Beautiful old cars.
A lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Good way to kill an hour. Cheap admission. Friendly staff. Lego and coloring table for kids who loose interest in the old cars.
Very cool way of presenting the story of the car ban on Mount Desert Island!
By the way, Seal Cove Road from Southwest Harbor is mostly gravel. You might want to take the long way around.

The first thing in the door we were welcomed by a wonderful lady. She gave a quick verbal overview of the museum and welcomed us. The collection is very nice. The gift shop had very reasonably priced items. I would recommend this as part of your Acadia visit.
